Lodge Manager Winter 2010

We are please to introduce our lodge manger for Winter 2010, Catriona Wilson.

Catriona's warmth, humour, passion and infectious enthusiasm will instantly make you feel at home at Gravbrot.

Catriona will prepare for you hearty, wholesome meals, made with fresh seasonal ingredients, and cooked slowly from the heart, with instinct and imagination. Simple rustic meals with the focus on flavour not fashion that bring people together to celebrate life.

Catriona, originally from the southern beaches of Sydney, now lives on a self sustainable rural property south of Perth. Her career has included work in hospitality, tourism, marketing and the arts including several snow seasons and a variety of weird and wonderful jobs. She has worked in the food service industry in just about every capacity you can imagine and has a resume infused by all sorts of different styles of cooking. Her travels in Australia and overseas has developed her passion for food, as well as a profound love of nature and wild places – in particular places covered in snow.

She says, “At Gravbrot I will be doing what I love. My aim is to take a new path every day, finding more and more to admire about this cold mountain paradise. I can’t wait to share this special place with Gravbrot guests.”
